Hello everyone! I know some people don't like Harry Potter. So I want to try to encourage people to at least TRY the first book. Since I have read it, I will give you a summary of the first book. Please just give it a chance!
Lord Voldemort has murdered Harry's parents when he was just a little baby. (You will find out why in the 3rd book). So he had to live with his evil aunt and uncle, Petunia and Vernon. See now, Petunia and Vernon have a son, Dudley. He is rotton, fat, and any other rotton word you can think of. When they have been getting thousands and thousands of letters from.....oh who knows who this person is. So then they go to this hut around near the ocean ( you know because they were getting so much letters). When they slept that night, a big, man named Hagrid comes and tells Harry he's a wizard. Hagrid has been expelled from Hogwarts and Dumbledore (the head master of Hogwarts) kept him and is now the scorekeeper of Quidditch (a wizard sport). Anyway, then Hagrid takes Harry to the wizard world and buys him everything:
Wizard robes
wand
broom
owl named Hedwig
Well I really don't want to tell you EVERYTHING. So, please go out and get yourself Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!
